Etsy now confirms bank accounts with a deposit
 

Anyone saw that? Is this a problem? I was trying to create a new account but was suspended in a couple of minuets after a couple of lists, i dont know if its a glitch or whatever, i was able to load my old accounts, but when creating a new one on first listing i got an error, oops something went wrong, and after i get to list it i get suspended, when i try to re open it says that account is open and not suspended.

etsy always deposits 1 cent, nothing new

never had to confirm my account with deposits like its on ebay, now ill have to tell them the amount they send, and a problem it my account is suspended but etsy site says its not

You are correct, this seems to be new. I just tried to create an account and they seem to have a new functzion. Usually they simply made a transfer of 0.01 $ but this seems to have changed in recent days.

can someone write here full steps for etsy ? Seems like alot of people having problems creating accounts cant be harder then Amazon

They are though because there is not has never been a tutorial made for it.

Cant be dont think it's popular as Amazon and eBay thats why no ome bother but as i said iif someone mention here the setps involved i can make guide to help others

Did your account become suspended immediately after opening an account?

If you took longer than required to verify bank account, it could be one of the system triggers.

Just opened one stealth account out of interest, was not requested to verify bank account, only enter one for 1 cent deposit, as it was always like that or at least since 2018 when I started making stealth accounts. Account also is being discovered in "search" meaning it has passed initial verification. Because I noticed from last year that some accounts are opened, but then kept in search limbo phase. You can list items but they will not be discovered, and shop stays like that.

one got suspended during first listing, was not allowed to list due to some error, after refreshing the page my product was in, and i got suspended. Secont account the same, but managed to list 3 products, got indexed in search and making more listings boom account suspended, when i try to re-open it it says account is not suspended. And i never had to verify my account like you have to on ebay.

Is it maybe what you are listing? Try listing something else.

Personally I don’t think any are difficult you just have to take time in understanding what to do. But when it comes to eBay and Amazon there is at least a written guidance of what to do. Etsy there isn’t. And there isn’t such thing as a stealth USA account for Etsy either. It has to be real. That right there cuts majority of people off from attempting to find a resolution because they think it’s impossible when in reality it’s not

After you update your bank details, you'll receive a small deposit from Etsy. You'll need to enter the small deposit amount in your Payment account in order to verify your bank account for compliance purposes. You'll receive emails from Etsy to remind you to verify your bank account to continue to get paid.

I never got emails from Etsy about this. I didn’t do it . Maybe that caused my deactivation? It doesn’t seem to take much. :(

They don't ask me for deposits. I made many recently.
