Etsy Stealth Questions & Stuff (EU Acc)
 

Hey there !

I've been reading advices throughout the forum in order to open a new Etsy Stealth account and I have some questions. (I'm from EU btw)

1. I have a bank account with multiple credit cards, some of them that I still haven't used on Etsy. Do I have to create a new bank account or I can just use the information for that specific deposit account with its linked card ?

2. Do I really have to use a new ID? (So I guess that I'd have to use the ID of a family member/friend etc?)

3. The bank account must have the same name that is mentioned in the ID? Will Revolut work as a VCC?

4. Can I skip the ID verification process as an EU member?

I still have my Etsy account running but I feel like I'm at risk due to copyright infrigements so I want to be prepared for this.

1. If you haven't used the cards before, you could likely use them without issue.

2. Stealth principle of name applies - avoid family member or friend without full discussion with them

3. and 4. I can't really comment about specifically for Etsy

Can you verify what you mean by stealth principal of name. Is there a way to change your name using dashes? Thanks for the help!

What's stopping you from using a different made-up name altogether?

I haven't tried using dashes

1. You need unique IBAN every time
2. ID is always requested
3. You put stealth info (name surname etc) and link your own bank account. Revo vcc's work
4. No as to my knowledge and experience (100+ stealth accounts).

I received a message from et si that there are discrepancies between the name on my payment account (stealth info) and the bank account (I have my own bank account there with my name) asking me to update my bank account details. What should I do? Account is active for several years. Please help.

That's a hard one. Maybe try another bank altogether.

I don't think they have access to banking records to identify mismatching name holders.

Which bank was it?

Do you pay fees from the bank account? Just wondering if you happen to upload funds

I thought so too. That is why it was surprising to see.
Just a normal EU bank, I have been using it for years.

Revolut works fine, and I didn't have to verify the ID so far (EU account).

My only concern is about VAT number, if I can't reuse it I won't be able to get an invoice from them.
