prepaid cards banned for sign up
 

Ive been signing up using pre-paid visas and mastercards for my billing profile for the last year since i've been opening stealth accounts. Just went to sign up again for a new shop and got an error message telling me my card type is not supported. Looked online and it seems this was implemented this Month. Any work arounds? I am UK based, from what i've heard VCC's were killed a while back now pre paid cards. What other options are available. Any advice would be appreciated.

Any vcc's work. What type of cards you were using?

Buy any vcc from this forum and you're good to go. I personally buy them from makavi94

That's fine - but when people find they don't work they have wasted other info - this is bad bad info and is not true

Despite what others will tell you VCCs do not work on Etsy - be very careful of the advise being dished out on this forum - Etsy has an algorfithum that recognises VCCs and will not accept them - despite what Duab tells you

Do you know the current technique for this card issue?

Earlier this month ETS...y also banned prepaids. VCCs were banned a while back from my understanding

So do VCCs work or not?? I mean one forum member tells it is working, another that it is not working.

This forum member has created few stealth accounts last year and stating that VCC's do not work.

I opened 7 new accounts last month using VCC's.

I state that they work.

And that should be end of the subject.

I can't comment on VCC's as I have not tried them yet. I'm going to give it a shot tomorrow and ill let you know if it works for me.

As far as I know, i created an account last month (July 2020) and VCC does not work.

VCC's work. Upon checking their numbers online make sure they are shown as credit and not prepaid.

Duab is correct.

I think there's a lot of misunderstanding and miscommunication on this thread.

VCCs DO work on etsy so long as they show as CREDIT or DEBIT and not PREPAID.

Very few VCC works on etsy.

Someone bought to test a VCC and she said it worked for her.

I have purchased from the seller e2free on here and I will see if it works. Still waiting to hear back..
