VCC or Gift Cards don't work anymore?
 

Hello,

I'm looking for the current way to pass the cc phase I really hope someone can help me out or point me in the right direction.

About 3 years ago I purchased a guide from someone that is no longer on this forum.

In that guide it said to use a gift card for that part of E**y's registration process

But spending the last couple of days in this forum I read several posts that said that this technique is no longer valid.

I myself have not tried it because I don't want to burn the new data.

Does someone know the current technique?

I would be willing to offer value in exchange for this info.

I hope this is not against the forums TOS.

Look in the marketplace services section here and you will find many great sellers of VCC that will fit your needs!

Thank you for taking the time to reply but Etsy is no longer accepting VCC's according to a lot of the posts here.

I have not tried personally but I have been told by many individuals that VCC is no longer an option for billing method.

If anyone has luck with a different VCC provider here in the UK please lmk.

If VCCs and prepaids are out what options do we have left to get the stealth details on the billing card?

Hey Tron, I couldn't respond to your PM. I don't have enough posts yet.

I read a post where you mentioned getting an E**y guide from the same person I did.

Have you tried to contact that person?

I know that she knew a lot of tips and tricks and was always up to date on the latest techniques. I tried to email her but I got no response.

No worries, Im not sure on how many posts you have to have before unlocking PMs. I don't have an ETSY guide from anyone, sort of pieced it together from different threads. My methods have always worked and still will, I just need to sort out this billing issue.

Im going to try with some other card options VCC and prepaid and see if they are blocked.

VCC's work. End of the subject.

Opened 7 accounts last month using various vcc's.

There appears to be conflict here - you claim VCCs work and that you have opened 80 accounts with 7 last month

For everyone else it is a problem

Etsy it seems is on a par with Amazon for creating stealth accounts

If you go to the accounts for sale section you will see only one seller, selling Amazon accounts at between $600 and $1200

Aspkin is looking for someone to create and sell Etsy accounts

If what you claim is true then clearly you are the man for the job

If what you claim is true then I imagine the moderators would welcome an approach from you to sell Etsy accounts on this forum

You have, according to your posts at least 87 Etsy accounts. Priced the same as the Amazon accounts for sale you have between $50,000 and $100,000 worth of accounts

If what you claim is true you would have no problem replacing the accounts you sell

If what you claim is true you would in fact be the biggest seller of stealth Etsy accounts on the interrnet

Tempting isn't it?

Can you afford to say no to $100,000?

But - it all only happens if what you claim is true and what everyone else says is untrue

So - will you put your money where your mouth is and prove you are correct?

Apparently not. If the card doesn't show as prepaid then it's fine.

Oh, and there's a reason there's only one Amazon account seller and it's got nothing to do with how hard it is to create Amazon accounts.

I don't agree that "everyone else has a problem" - how can you state that everyone else has a problem? Maybe only those who do write in this forum?

Check the comment from e2free who also stated that his VCC's work on ets.

Not lets get back to the topic and being specific this time. If you would google something like "binlist" you will see some websites which lets you check your card.

First 4 or 6 digits of your card will tell its bank, network (visa, mastercard, etc) and location. its called BIN number

Second 4 digits of your card will tell whether its credit/debit and prepaid/not prepaid

The VCC's I use are credit and not prepaid. So apparently ets has no problem with these type of cards, which is also backed up by my own experience.

I have also opened accounts using revolut prepaid/debit cards.

I admit that I don't have knowledge about all possible vcc's there is. Maybe some type used is declined these days like vanilla mastercards or gift cards.

But cards are are available for purchase from legit sellers in these forum worked all the time for me.

I hope this post will bring some clarity about this topic.

Well not sure why its difficult to explain
Ebayorbust explained if the card showing pre paid it will be rejected its same as Amazon only few cards working and even those shows as credit cards

So cards not a problem for etsy

The Revolut card was rejected by Esty for me, they said they need either a debit or credit card.

I looked up mine and it says it is "debit/prepaid".

Some providers provide vcc but when you check their bins it's not showing as a prepaid card so they should work in the system. But if cards showing as prepaid it's not going to work same for amazon seller accounts.

bincode says my card is credit and Australian, another checker says prepaid/Australian, a 3rd checker says credit/USA.

All over the place.

I tried a prepaid mastercard (The fee for opening it was like 4 bucks!) and it did not work :(

Prepaid never works. Go to the marketplace and get a VCC (virtual credit card) that works for etsy.

Because bins are getting updates you need to find the sites which show the most recent one or you should try the website which are you working on its passes or not.

Well Etsy's own bin checking algorithm doesnt like them. I made another Revolut and it failed again. makavi94's work fine though.

Probably they don't have an algorithm they just don't get updates usually they ban prepaid cards after so much usage happens. Either need to find non prepaid cards at all will be the key. In my experience, some banks provide virtual cards but when you check them there is no prepaid it looks like regular so they are not going to be banned anytime.
