Etsy sale processing holds
 

Lately more than usual im getting pending sales.

It seems like these holds must be from buyers paying via paypal?
And buyers using credit card have no processing holds?
They are usually 24 hours or 3 days or 5 days till ok’d or cancelled.

Anyone know more about this?

Its odd with the buyers that get the order cancelled also have their etsy accounts closed at time of cancellation also.

Or maybe they are credit card fraud orders?

INTL ORders sometimes will take longer to process,but it sounds like these are fraudsters trying to steal your merchandise,
time is tough out there ,so expect more fraud going into holiday season

I got to say etsy does a great job weeding the bad apples out. I never have buyer issues on etsy.
Ebay i can sell the same items and i get robbed blind with no recourse.

It is better now,but Etsy does not have the deep pocket of Ebay .its customer service is understaff,and they are still working on the software which will allow a reseller to avoid paying sales tax .
