4th Etsy shop suspended
Hey there! I have had 3 Etsy shops for a while now. I wasn't running the 3rd one anymore after 3 sales because my first and second shop were doing fine.
On my second shop however I got slammed with my first review and it was a 1 star rating. I already had 550 sales on that account when that review came in. I was transparent about what I was selling but the buyer did not want to take any responsibility after a chat conversation and so, that review is still there.
I opened a new shop a few days after that happened and after only 30 or 45 minutes of setting everything up and listing the things that I had on my second shop, I got suspended. I still have access to the 4th account. It does seem like only my selling privileges got restricted but I basically cannot do anything with that account.
In the meantime I did however receive a new rating on my second shop and it was a 5 star review by another buyer. I am now at 3 stars in total on my second shop. My first shop is doing just fine with almost 1,000 sales and a 5 star total rating.
My question is: Should I be creating a stealth account or should I just buy some of my own items and give myself a review? I would be using a virtual machine, NordVPN and the same PayPal account but with a different email address. Or should I create another PayPal account?
My second shop was doing $USD15-17k a month and when that negative review came in, I was just frustrated and decided to deactive all listings and start again with a new shop which ultimately didn't work out. |
