$0.00 available for deposit after account suspension
 

My account was suspended this morning I woke up and I can't request a deposit of the remaining funds to my bank account. Etsy expects me to fulfill the remaining open orders but they are not releasing my funds. How do I deal with this? Do funds get confiscated along with the account suspension?

Disbursed after 180 days. You probably got automatic suspension without email notice. So your account is on hold now, which can be reinstated or suspended permanently. Appeal via email, and help form. If any high risk items are present, best to delete them until acc is reviewed.

If you would be signed out from an account with no option to login back in, that's another story.

either cancel all your unfilled orders or ship them out with tracking ASAP

I will not ship them out without knowing if Etsy will release my funds.

I don't know much about Etsy, but did they tell you why they suspended you?

If they have a similar system like amazon where they keep the funds if it's due to inauthentic issue, it's a problem.

Funds are always released, experience from 100~ suspended acct's.

I got an email notice. Account was suspended for intellectual property infringement. Emailed etsy support 5 times and still no response.

:juggle:I understand if they have to keep the funds on orders involved with infringement, but not every single penny on the account.

They only stressed I have to fulfill all open orders, but didn't mention a word about the funds that are on hold. This is what makes me furious. Even if an account violated their terms, this doesn't justify their attitude towards the seller. Not a professional business should be.

Lots of horror stories about Etsy. You can make good money with the right products, but Etsy can also shut you down in a split second. Once suspended there’s almost zero chance being reinstated. You’re better off creating a new (stealth) account. A tough pill to swallow with 100s-1000s of feedbacks, but that’s what it is.

Funds will be released. No need to worry about that one.

Just create new stealth account and build it up.

Brutal alright. From Etsy's perspective though, major IP holders have gone on the warpath accusing etsy of a being a hive of piracy, they have to show they are taking action.

Your money will absolutely be held for a painful 6 full months. try sending an email to legal@etsy.com to know the exact date that they will release your fund.

THEN THEY WILL not release your fund,if you dont ship,your buyer will file a case of INR with Etsy or cc,then there is more reason to hold on to your fund and eventually go back to your buyer
