Do Warnings drop off?
 

Does anyone know if Etsy's warnings ever come off or are removed after a certain length of time? Maybe a calendar year? or 1 year after the warning or something like that?

Do we have any info? :s

I would say it's safe to assume they last 12 months.

I got a **final warning** from Etsy in July 2019 and had 9 IP strikes. I put the shop on holiday mode and went travelling until April 2020 (9 months later)

I then got a further 8 IP Strikes in April - July 2020 and another final warning of which they finally closed the account in August

I would say 6 months reset.

Mine was 11 months from "final warning" till termination, or 3rd infringement post warning. Infringements built up over 2 year period, no resets in that time.

Can I ask how many of them were trademark and how many are copyright you countered?

My last banned account was shut down on the second infringement after last warning.

7th infringement had final warning, 3rd infringement after that was shut down. Had a few copyrights that I countered, I dont count those.

did you get 9 ip strikes in 1 month ? from the same brand ?
