Am I good to go?
 

When I go to IPBurgers Residential Plans section, I can see Premium and Basic plans. Which of these plans do you guys use? Do you think the Basic Starter plan with 4GB a month is enough? I just want to test things out but I am not sure if only 4GB a month would be enough.

After deciding on which of the plans I get, from reading through countless threads on this website, I guess I will need a VCC and PayPal account next. I am not trying to make an Etsy Payments account just yet because I don't know how I would be able to do it. My girlfriend said she'd let me use her name and ID but honestly, and I am sure I will get banned again, I don't think this is worth it. I would just like to go with a PayPal only store for now.

However, if I do decide to switch over to an Etsy Payments shop using my girlfriends ID and that account gets banned, what else can I do? My ID cannot be used again I think and her ID is gone as well. I can't keep asking family members to give me their IDs either.

What do you guys do in that situation? I am from Germany by the way.

I guess on Germany you can use only etsy payments.

That is correct but to create a PayPal only shop, I was going to buy a Residential plan on IPBurger to appear as though I am in, say, Ukraine.

Another thing I was wondering is, what if I did open a German Etsy shop using my ID but different credit card and bank account? If I took a new picture of my ID and entered a different address than what is on my ID, would that be a way of doing it?

It might get linked with your old id account. also does the id show the address you live?

i have UK esty mate. I recommend you use your real residential IP or mobile hotspot. etsy is very strict with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ips or vpns. you will get suspended and it's very frustrating.

So, I managed to create an account and actually list one product about 36 hours ago. The account is still there, the shop is still up. However, I messed up badly and will have to create a new shop. I had the IPBurger plugin installed with a Residential IP address. However, none of the 3 VCC's I bought online worked

I had to use PayPal to pay $0.20. I changed my PayPal address before doing that so I wouldn't be adding the address I used when I set up my now suspended accounts.

I then tried paying the $0.20 via PayPal but due to the Residential IP I had running, I couldn't connect to PayPal. Since I didn't have any other Etsy tab open and it was just the PayPal tab up now, I turned off IPBurger, logged into my PayPal account and paid those pennies. Rookie mistake when I proceeded and got sent back to Etsy right after paying. I totally forgot it was done automatically. In that moment, my real IP was used. I didn't press anything on Etsy again, I didn't reload the website either. I just turned IPBurger right back on and added a product.

Now I am wondering whether I got caught or not. Am I safe? Or is it safe to assume that this account will be suspended soon?

Thing is, I work with someone who lives in a different country. He ships the products to the customers so I am not too picky about the locations/IP addresses I use.

Either way, I was wondering if you guys had the same experience? I did try paying with a VCC but it said that they don't accept those types of credit cards.
