Question about etsy sales

Hi,

I've be comparing my shop with my competitors. I've more reviews, aged shop but where ever i used etsy ads $250++ spending each days, my sales will not go beyond 25 sales daily. When i stop ads my shop having almost same sales with running ads

My comps doing even better. How it works actually?

it depends on the items i suppose, do you use offsite ads? or a daily budget?

I believe etsy automatically include offsite ads if we switch on etsy ads? Same products same niche. That's odds

How long did you turn on/off your ad?
I think if you run ad longer than without ad, then it could be something like 'privilege'

I could be wrong, but it's an interesting case since I left Ebay and Amazon to concentrate on Etsy
