Change Legal Name - after suspension?
 

Asking for a very good friend from USA who got suspended and used to make 3-5k weekly. I live in UK and successfully opened account on my husband's name a year ago after I got suspended. I already have around 4k sales with over 30k pounds. I sell SVG files.

Did somebody tried to change their First and Last names before creating a new account? I know some of you made tons of money on Etsy, including me. I literally have read all topics about ETSY and what I found - most people fail. Especially using their real info. I know some guys opened new accounts successfully but don't want to share their strategy here.

I know in USA you still have same SSN, but if you change your Legal Name, address(state), phone number, PC, photos for listings, open new bank will you still have a chance to open a new account?

My friend even thinks to move to UK or another country because his SVG sales were really good and he 100% can open new store in different country but he still wants to try USA.

Or during opening a new shop, instead of last 4 digits of SSN can you write down last 4 digits of EIN?

Personally I think it should work. What do you think guys?

Too much of an overkill. There are simplier ways to get back to selling on Etsy.

The same goes with Ebay and Amazon.

Exsy is the hardest part. Most people fail here

I use stealth successfully but on my husband's name.

I've read every topic here and don't see so many successful guys who manage exsy.

I would change name a 3rd time making 4-20k a month :D

Skewed sample, predominantly its people who have a problem who post here. I don't, I just like to hang around (keeps my skill level up).

Opening a shop is the easy part, its usually what's uploaded as listings that causes the problem..

I opened one under my wife's name and got banned within a week.

I really gotta find a way to get back on cause im missing out on thousands a month now

So no problems starting an account, lasted a week even, it's just how you run the account is the problem. Listing sus product is risky anyway.

Did you use same internet, computer, photos, listing's names, tags, prices? Did you use same home address? Does her bank has same address?

This is probably the reason why you got banned and she can never open another shop probably

Hmm, overcoming ip is also hard now that vpn are a no go
