Created a Stealth Account - one last step
 

Verification. I've created my stealth account using just a slightly different variation of my real name, a new bank account etc. all that stuff.

Now they're asking me for my ID of course. I don't want to do anything illegal so if anyone knows what to do now, please enlighten me.

If theyre asking for ID then youll need to give them that - one way or another.

Could you please explain to me what my options are? I would highly appreciate it. I've fell on hard times ever since my suspension in December. I can barely take care of my family now and paying my grandfathers hospital bills has become an even bigger burden. All I need is the one push and whatever I learn from this stealth experience, I will provide the help that others need in the future.

Once the ID has been submitted, do they reject or accept it right away or does it take a while? I can't remember what it was like when I signed up on Etsy for the very first time.

Alright, so this is what happened:

I created an account in an E Payments country. I am also now enrolled in Etsy Payments and I am waiting for their small deposit to my bank account so I can verify my bank account. At the same time they did ask for an ID so I sent them an ID and I am now waiting. That was roughly 16 or 17 hours ago. Does this mean the account is good to go or could there be some interference?

Also, when I created the account and set up my shop, I had to add a product of course. I did that and the product came up in the search shortly after. What does this mean exactly? Good to go or better wait for their email to accept the ID?

You'll only get an email if ID is not accepted. And they don't usually check until sales start to roll in.
