Etsy - changing to EIN
I need some help.
Have a 5 year old account, doing great. However, have had it under sisters name. I take care of the taxes and all that, however, having family issues. I know you can't change ownership. What is a way around this?
Can I switch to an EIN? or an EIN LLC? Would I be able to apply for an EIN under my personal name & social, with the Business name? Or will that cause issues with Etsy and them track that EIN back to me? (previously about 7 years ago my etsy account was shut down under my name which is why I resorted to using my sisters social).
Would I have to apply for an EIN under my sisters name?
Please help. Sorry for all the questions.
