Questions about Final warning and new shop
 

Fist of all, thank you for all the advice here. It really took away some of the initial shock about my final warning!

I sold selfmade engravings on wood based on drawings I did of anime and comic characters, and got 6 intellectual property infringement claims in one week from the same guy (@infringementreports.com). He seems to have too much time and takes down shops by claiming to be the copyright holder for toei animation and Warner Bros and after some research for serval other brands too.

Now I would like to sell only engravings based on generic characters( dogs, cats, ECT) and original characters invented by me. But I'm afraid that some unrightful claim could close my shop immediately, because I got the last warning.
If I open a new shop and close my old one, are the strikes still active for my new shop? Or can I have more then one last warning on my new Shop?
Are the warnings for the shop, or for my account?

If I'm still on the last warning with my new Shop, what would be your advice to start with a clean slate?

So far I have only deleted all my listings. I have two orders to complete. After I shipped the last two orders, i plan to put my shop on vacation mode and open a new shop.
I think I would have to use my real credentials, because of the tax number i have

Final warning is grim - really grim - it only needs one arsehole to get you shut down completely

If you can keep your new account completely seperated from your existing one you might have a chance

There is a seller on the forum, Duab, who seems very knowledgeable about Etsy - it might be worth reaching out to him for some advice

The problem on etsy is that anybody can claim copyrights against you. Competitors do this to me all the time and etsy instantly sides with them.

Now for anything close or possible copyright i use the “contact me for customs or non listed items” ;)
