Eu vat id
 

I am located in EU...I just discovered I will need to provide VAT ID also....I have VAT ID, but it is under my real name and I am super worried what may happen once ET.Y will report it to our local tax office with different stealth name...

is there some solution? I see there are a lot of users from EU countries, how do you do it regarding these VAT ID?

No, when you register the vat Id is not needed.
If you are selling online and the combined total of your sales across the total of the EU countries exceeds EUR 10,000, after July 1st you are obligated to collect VAT in each EU country based on the delivery address of each of your shipments.

This VAT and TAX topic is really haunting me.

Yes, I know when I exceed some threshold then I need, I quote - provide VAT ID as E.sy is reporting some info to local tax authorities. I will need to provide also taxpayer name based on their info, otherwise ban...:eek:

It means they are reporting these info to authorities in my country? I don't even know what is happening then, especially when acc. is stea.th and with stea.th info.

I need to dig into this more as I am lost in this topic and I don't understand it well. :coffee:
