Suspended after first sale
 

Hi, does somebody has an idea why shops are suspended after first sale? My new shop was not really stealth this time. My aunt opened the shop for me, so everything was a new person and i only signed there from her home. First sale and suspended. When it was happening on my stealth accounts I thought is because i messed up something when created the shops, but now it is all new person and it happened again. And did not sell same items, totally different stuff than before. No copyright, just my very own designs. 100% handmade by me.

How long was the account active with your listings before your first sale?

Did you use new pics for your listings?

What are you selling, digital or physical products?

Hi, it was 3 days online and last night got first sale. I sell handmade pots for plants with my designs on it. I was never selling that before so all photos are new, never used even the camera for etsy photos before.

have you tried to contact their support? Sometimes it helps... a lot of people complaining now about suspended accounts even in e.sy forum.

Exactly what Miss Stealth said.

The account is in you Aunt's name so it's not realty "stealth". Your selling legit handmade items so no worries there either.

Contact customer service. You should be fine.

Yea sometimes etsy bots just ban anything new so send them a message.

These days its almost a given to get a ‘soft’ suspension on a new etsy account.

If you try to login and cant then thats a hard suspension and its over, abort the account because they caught you red handed.

So if you can actually still login and see the suspended contact support text then you still have a chance with support. As long as they dont have an issue with what you’re selling you should be ok in like a week.

If you are familiar with ebay at all. At least with Canadian accounts… after listing your first item on a new ebay stealth ebay will actually take your listing down and want to call you and ask you some questions about your account and selling.

Etsy is just trying something similar on new users.
