Can I have a friend in another state make an account?
 

My account was suspended a few months ago and I thought it was a lost cause.

I made a new account about 2 weeks ago, it didn't get banned for a few days but I just logged in and saw it was. I have no idea when it was suspended and Etsy didn't send an email.

Here are the things I changed (before knowing about this community)

New Bank Account (used Plaid to verify)
New Email
New Address
New SSN (I used a tax ID on my last one)

I have a friend in another state that will make me an account, but will it just get deleted if I try to log in? He will use my social, but could he maybe use his own bank account for deposits? Will this even work? I am really bummed about this because I want to get back into selling.

NEVER have a friend touch your SSN.


Before you make your account active make sure you know why you got banned by Etsy.

Hmmm etsy I'd treat like amazon. As in I'd wipe down my entire computer and start new.

Try that first.
