Can Etsy see Call Forwarding ?
 

When a customer sends a message to you on Etsy or Ebay, a text message is sent to your phone for that account. Can I automatically have that text message forwarded from the accounts phone to another phone of mine without Etsy or Ebay knowing it? I want to carry just one phone and not multiple phones. Any reply that I would send back, of course, will be from the phone for that account, but any incoming texts would be forwarded to just one phone.

Is there a way Etsy and Ebay knows if a text message is forwarded?

Etsy can't see the forwarding rules that are on the client side of a phone number

To confirm, no they can't. I've been doing it with both SMS and emails for as long as I can remember without issue with all messages from all selling platforms.

Hank, Thank you so much. This will make it easier on my pants pockets, not having to carry multiple cell phones. Ha. Great for incoming text messages.
