Setting up billing - credit card owner
 

Just signing up for new account (to have as a back up if my other ones blow up). Since I did this last two years ago, I do not remember what the main principles were.

You add your bank account and you have "Set up billing" page. Does the name on card has to match with the Etsy account owners' name? Does etsy see the owner of the card's name?

Bank account and Etsy account owner names do match.

if the bank accepts deposits in stealth names, you keep the etsy account owner name as the name of the bank acct

Yes, this is right and I know it. I do have a matching bank account with the account owners' name. I am asking about the credit card you give for billing. Does it have to match the names again?

Truly?! So lets say I want to estup my billing CC on etsy, I use anyones CC (Mine, but Ive been banned in the past)

New CC number, new bank, same name..will this flag my account? The CC name would be the only thing not matching names.

Only thing that truly has to matchup with a cc is the billing address for AVS purposes...

doesnt have to be tax ID addy just has to match address used on platform

neither name neither addresses have to match.

i use vcc's for accounts all the time, and they have always mismatching names/address

does the bank and cc billing have to be match as the country residence?

bank and cc should be from the same country or at the least the cc should be accepted on the platform to be billed in the appropriate currency.

Is this true for USA based accts ? I bought a vcc from here and it claim no need for AVS maybe I got jipped cause my accts gets a instant suspended after verify the code plaid sends.

Any insights here..

Etsy suspending all account for review
It doesn't matter if you uploaded a product or not.
Contact there support and they will review you account

Wait Wait.. can anyone confirm that no matter what even new real info, lets say another family member will also get a instant suspension now ?

So now after every acct creation your telling me we need to contact them and have them review the accts now :tears:

Well I posted a picture mockup of the word of the item I am using real quick as a picture, It worked before I think its the plaid thing . If I choose manual deposit, they cant see my other banned acts in the pack of accts in my bank account correct ? I am thinking they can only see that if I opt for instant verify by logging in through plaid with bank user/pw.

Hi Duab, I wonder if I can use a US BIN vcc for an Australian account & fill in an Australian address for the US BIN vcc. Thank you!
