VPN or VPS for Etsy Hello everyone, I am gonna write down what happened to me, full story. Also I tried searching for "VPN" in forums and haven't got any search results so, I figured I'd post my own thread.
I am from Serbia, a country which Etsy doesn't allow you to open a shop from. I had a company open in the UK and I used the company street address and bank account to open an Etsy store. It worked and I made like 10 sales but I never did it as a main thing I was focused on. I maybe spent like 5 days there, I sold some blankets with printify.
2 Years later I decide to use that old shop and start selling digital products. Like digital wall art. I post 200 listings, everything seems like it's working fine up until I realise my listings aren't showing up in search.
I contacted etsy support and asked them should I make a new shop, I've heard that my shop is indexed bla bla. And they say yes you can do that as long as you delete the old one. So I created a new shop with the same info only this time I changed my country to Slovenia and send my Serbian passport. Boom banned after 3 days.. (didn't know about suspensions at all so I thought "yeaa they will see my nane on my passport no biggie gg").
On my first account I was still not suspended, but I decided to not use it since etsy payments weren't working, that's the reason my listings were not showing up in search actually, since they wanted to verify my identity and see if I'm really from the UK as my business was.
Now a few days ago I decide to completely delete my first account which was not suspended actually and I'm now waiting for them to review the deletion request, and currently under the "cancel account deletion" button, it says shop suspended.
Sooo my best friend from Italy opened up a new account for me from his laptop, we were talking on skype. He used his name, id, bank account, address, phone, everything, and now he's waiting for the ID verification.
I still don't want to try and login from my PC in Serbia, since one or maybe both of my accounts were suspended from this IP. Also don't want to use my phone ever, because I logged in to etsy browser and 2 etsy seller apps.
Is it possible for me to reinstall Windows, and install a VPN or VPS, and set the location to Italy. Could I then be able to login without facing any penalties.
Which VPN or VPS do you recommend? (static, dedicated ip or whatever)
OR should I use TeamViewer, and connect to his laptop and upload my listings from there?
But that would kinda suck, calling him everyday to use his laptop. |
Re: VPN or VPS for Etsy Welcome to the forum OP - all the best as you master stealth :thumb:
IPburger would work for you if you can get an italian ip - or use teamviewer or logmein for rdp to your friend's computer. |
Re: VPN or VPS for Etsy Thanks dude :canada: |

you don't need to reinstall windows, just use the antidetect browser such as adspower/multilogin/incogniton with new browser fingerprint and mobile proxy / residential proxy, don't use commercial vpn too risky. |

exactly.
But be careful with the hardware settings. The wrong hardware settings could result in a ban. |

But that would kinda suck, calling him everyday to use his laptop. | For Etsy, I'd treat them like Amazon and use ipburger residential IP . Nothing else | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:52 PM. | |
