I've been seeing more and more non hand made items on Etsy like Clothes from China, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ Rolex, etc etc etc

Etsy actually doesn't care anymore and it's becoming like eBay where all kinds of items are welcome?

Etsy also allows vintage and antique items on its site,it has been like this for almost 20 years.
where have you been?
But I agree,many are not vintage they were made yesterday by ALIBABA

Etsy will allow you to register with @@@@ documents if they don't ban it.Then you can see all sorts of **** on etsy.;)))

It's amazing what the almighty dollar can do to your principles/business ethos when your plans come to fruition and suddenly you're making millions with plenty more to be had. :)

Yup.. I myself sold non-handmade(ish) for months and had my account manually reviewed and unsuspended twice (for unrelated issues)

As long as you make them money, they care not.

Copyrighted things are still off the table though

Not too sure you can just go listing anything and everything, if there's no personalisation to the item.

Friend registered and started work on item description, tried saving item description and got suspended. She chose item not personalised instead of choosing item is personalised.

Hmmm... I didn't think about the personalization part, but when I was looking around on Etsy, these items don't even have personalization options and they are clearly ⊗⊗⊗⊗ items IE: ⊗⊗⊗⊗ rolex

haha i was thinking the same i literally had no clue that stuff was even available on etsy, but i guess it makes sense since its pretty vintage, i had to take a look my self a lot of "victorian" stuff lol, each to their own

I guess if you're into 'fully carpeted' porn the older stuff might seem 'cooler', but to pay for it and on VHS too, well that's a weird fetish all of it's own. :deadhorse:

Vhs? Isn't that the big bulky plastic case with movie ribbon that you have to rewind every time you're done watching??

There are folks who still buy VHS movies,there are also eBAY sellers who would convert your VHS to dvd.

i USED the service once,it is pretty good,if you want your VHS tape back,you have to pay return shipping.
