Info for first delivered item but customer say not
 

Hi lads,

i was trying new experience in etsy, all good for the moment but i have first customer sending message saying item not arrived, but tracking say it is delivered.
What's happening now, i'm going to answer him we see item is delivered, surely he will open a claim.

What's the etsy behaviours in this case?

read Etsy seller protection.
What is the amount?
if over $xxx,you need signature confirmation.
You can also call buyer post office and ask them to trace it.
Just see you are in IT,what does the tracking number look like,you can go to USPS website and type in tracking and see what it said

I get this on ebay on a regular basis , USPS shows delivered , claim opened

at least on ebay this usually leads to customer not taking further action on dispute or ebay closing the case without refund

Etsy should side with you if tracking does show delivered.

Then buyer would file chargeback with cc issuer.what kind of tracking is it?
I have an ETSY buyer who bought silverware from diff sellers,and said she did not get mine.
That was the time when USPS would not ask buyer for signature confirmation even tho I paid for it due to COV19.
I called her post office and the postman actually called me back and said he delivered several packages t o her and remember mine is the only with the pink Confirmation slip.
I won the case.
She bought it via KLRA,whatever that installment payment plan offered on Etsy,she cant file chargeback

So its your first sale and you're getting a complaint?

Just refund him or say goodbye to your account
