Competitor Submitting False Trademark Infringement Reports
Have an Etsy shop with over 5000 sales. Been getting multiple trademark reports from a competitor; know for sure it's not the actual trademark owner. Got final warning today from Etsy Legal. Pretty retarded for Etsy to allow competitor reporting when they already have a brand portal available for trademark owners.
Should I just close down and restart with a stealth account? Can I use the same name on the stealth account so existing customers recognize it? Or will Etsy link the original and stealth accounts. |
