Changing tax details on account
 

I had created a steal et5y account using my friends details (name, address and Tax ID) Now et5y has announced changes in Tax collection so, will my account be suspended if I change my friends details on account to someone else details.
Will et5y notice these changes and suspend my account?

I did this on my first Etsy account to avoid keeping MY SSN on Etsy's servers after they announced the changes to the $20,000/200 transaction limit (Stupid), and my account was immediately suspended. I later messaged the Etsy team to try and salvage the account. They claimed... well, take a look below;


I replied with mostly(?) correct answers, and they never responded one way or another. After this I made a point to jot down all the pertinent info they needed for any new account I made. Who the hell remembers when they opened the account? It was at least 4 years old.. :sleepy::sleepy:

changing my friend details to someone else details?
what kind of details?
if they are SSN and name of the person,bank and credit cards are different,this would be like transferring the Etsy account to someone else,
issues which Etsy would be facing -
do all the inventory of the shop goes to the new owner?
past feedbacks left by buyers are meant for the previous seller,not the new one.
what if there are disputes and chargebacks,as chargebacks can be filed in 6 months,overseas one could be 1 year?

too many questions agent006140 - simply put, changing the info is a huge security flag and you can expect issues to happen
