Etsy continues to let sellers to sell prohibited item on ebay

Recently ebay removed simultaniously the same product from all ebay platforms because of precsription drug category but sellers on Etsy still continue to sell.
Does this mean I can sell it there too or soon Etsy will do the same as ebay?
Do they have the same rules?

etsy and ebay are different platforms - prescription drugs are always risky - you can only try and see how etsy handles it...

Some products that were non prescription were still banned from eBay, I got caught up in this once because I had a cleaning product which had a syringe and blunt needle. I made the mistake to offer global shipping, so whereas the product was legal in the USA it was not legal in some countries so I got a take down and a strike against me.

Etsy have there own different standards.

Actually it is food and there are too many different brands selling already on ebay but somehow this brand was the best selling and after 1 year it was taken into prescription drug category unlike other brands.
