Etsy Sales
 

So, I decided to expand sales onto Etsy. The problem, is how do you get your listings more traffic? I have never seen such low traffic on a major site. I started the marketing campaign for ads. Is there anything else that I am missing being new?

Did you sign up for marketing,forget what it is called,bu you allow Etsy to include your items in Google search and if someone comes to your site and buy ,you pay a hefty marketing fee plus Etsy fee.
Etsy traffic is not like Ebay,many Etsy sellers are crying-get no or low sales in 2023.
It has to do with the economy.

Yes, I did the Etsy ads. The economy is for sure a problem. Since July of last year when rate hikes happened. I've seen sales cut in half across all platforms.

A lot of Etsy sellers are complaining that if they use the promoted listings on there they basically make no profit to get more sales. That was why I pulled off it, no profit for me, plenary for Etsy. I switched to Mercari got better sales for less but hated the negotiated prices from some buyers, also could only list one item at a time.

These days consumers are buying what they need and not what they would like and you find them on AMZN and Ebay,but not Etsy
