1 out of 2 shops banned
 

Hey!

Over a month ago, one of my two shops got banned. I've been using the same IP, same device etc. on both of my accounts but only one account was affected. How is that possible and what could this mean?

If each account sold different type of product, that could explain it or you are extremely lucky the second account has not been effected and maybe a ticking time bomb just waiting to be banned.

Hmmm... could be anything really, if I were you I'd be very cautious and start making a 3rd account just incase the 2nd account is toast too later

I have two accounts. One got suspended at a point in time and it did not affect my other account, even though I use basically the same info / everything for both, just separate browsers. I truly believe they are not like eBay and others. Each store is its own identity and I highly doubt they would ban both just because one got banned.

Though I am thinking of creating a third with all new info and do that as a digital store since non of those ever get taken down.

I have seen them do a "clean up" I think about a year ago and all accounts got linked. I just happen to remember because there were sellers who are wondering about this.

No, definitelynot eBay. If I were to compare, I'd compare Etsy to amazon.
