IBAN format problem when changing bank

I have been exploring discussions about stealth on this forum and decided to return to etsy.However, I registered my shop with an italiann iban from my previous bank. and am trying to submit my online bank iban, but i get this error: 'IBAN does not match the expected format.'

They only accept Italian iban and those I had already suspended

You need to ask support to change bank country. That works within eurozone

no, that does not suspend account. I guess it was newly created? then most of them will get auto suspensions within first 24-48 hours.

I'm not entirely sure. I made an account. then after about 15 days, I opened a shop. It performd well for 7 days. Then i made a sale. Two days after that sale, tried to change my bank several times. And the account got suspended just one day after that

They may suspend for this reason if the deposit sent is not confirmed by a period of time after the first sale usually 1 month

But i didn't begin verification, I only tried to edit the bank

name you used to register with Etsy and name of your bank account must match

if you use a main bank (I don't know about the USA or UK), your name and surname do not have to match, let's not repeat myths

most main banks do not have problems with mismatches even on individual accounts, problems may arise in "banks" such as wise or revolut
