current online banks accepting name mismatch?
 

Does anyone have reliable online banks that accept mismatch name for Etsy withdrawals? I want to be able to open UK Iban as a European (as in wise).

I dont think Etsy will let you link a bank account with a different name than the one you registered with Etsy

Will you explain to me why you repeat this lie so often? it's not true I've seen you write like that many times First of all, et$y is not able to check who is the owner by the IBAN number, if the problem is only on the recipient's side, and this does not apply to most main banks.

all banks accept mismatches, they are also not allowed to display the real holders name to etsy. So you can use any baank conneccting your stealth account. It always worked for me.

do you mean online banks like wise, revolut etc? Do you have business or individual accounts? Where did you last open an IBAN?

How about steath ID?Etsy can read the tax number whether it belongs to that person or not?

This rule applies to US Etsy account,since you are not in US,so please ignore it.
It is not a LIE,it just does not or have not applied to non US account.

what happens when some one hacked your account and change the bank account to his?
It happens to an US Etsy seller who bought an account from some one,for some reason,she did not change the bank account,so the previous seller kept the sales proceeds and refused to refund.
There is nothing she can do,she cant complain to Etsy as she is using another person 's account after her own was suspended,she cannot go to the bank and complain.

Only US Etsy account would need bank account which matches the name registered with Etsy.
So what happens if some one either a hacker or disgruntled employee/ex employee replace your bank account with his bank account?
It has happened on all 3 sales venues-Etsy,Amzn and Ebay.
Someone did that on AMZN and transferred $80k to a different bank account,since then AMZN would require you to enter the existing bank account number before you can replace it with a new bank account.

that situation isn't a "hacked" situation - they buyer didn't change the bank account....that's just plain laziness

Does this also apply to UK?

My stores on Etsy have been suspended many times due to copyright. Now I am planning to open a new store with UK proxy anti detect browser (I am thinking of using dolphin or incogniton. I am open to your advice on this subject).

I will open a new account with my friend's information. I'm thinking of using Wise. Is it okay if I use my friend's credentials when opening the store and use my Wise GBP account (I used my US account before) as my bank account?

Long story short, has anyone tried this method for the UK?

By the way, sorry for my English. It's not my native language.

With my US account, I have a mismatched name.

US banks do not confirm details with Etsy, I have had a US bank close my account due to the payee name on the transferred funds not matching the account name.
