Etsy and holiday mode
 

Hi all,

I have had my etsy shop put on holiday mode by etsy due to a number of open cases which occurred as I was rushed into hopital.

The email I had from Etsy says that they have temporarily put my shop on pause.

I have now cleared all orders by either sending or refunding.

Has anyone had this? How long did it take for them to take it off holiday mode? is it worth reaching out to them?

There was an email stating that they temporarily placed my shop on pause to allow me to catch up without the pressure of new orders.

I had a number of open cases due to going into early labour, after this I was then rushed back to hospital for an unrelated reason.

I worked myself to death yesterday sending out every order, only to log in today to see that they have suspended my account.

I have sent an appeal with the reasons/extenuating circumstances. I can only hope now they will reinstate my account. Distraught is not the word.

Etsy sounds like egay use to be in the old days - suspension at the drop of a hat. Hopefully the appeals will yield some results if you can get a hold of a human. I have had payment reserves immediately enabled as a penalty for only one buyer case, so I'm not shocked.
