Question about Name of legal entity
 

Hi,
I uploaded LLC business name in Name of legal entity
But in Government-issued personal ID Etsy requests ID with Legal Entity name shown, DOB of a person, and Company address

I fill out the owner of the company which is my friend who does have SSN

It looks weird to ask for the ID of Legal Entity? I'm not quite understand this

They should ask for ID of a person instead Company ID?

She registered a company not a person.
But behind every company,there must be a person.
But date of Birth?
unless they want to make sure you are at least 18 years old

Instead of asking for company Etsy should ask for person's details instead of company.

But the legal name in screenshot above for company.

DBA doing business in some state like TX to open a business checking account and other states like dept of revenue sales tax certificate.
When you go to a trade show wholesale area,you would be asked to show this sales tax certificate to prove you are a retailer
