For example I can’t use the name Baby Bear when registering my account if the name on my bank account is John Bear and the name I am registering my Etsy account with is John Bear.

The family member’s name and info is used to register the account along with the address. The bank account is in my name but I am doing the manual verification method, entering their name on the bank account and then verifying the bank account deposit. Same process with the credit card.

I would say the problem lies with her bank account.
with credit card,they will check the numeric data like street number and zipcode,if the address she used with her Etsy account does not match with her cc,thats could be another possibility. |
