Changing etsy info to real (My) Info
 

Hello, i have an account created to a friend 1 year ago, i need to change the info to mine real info (i was previously banned 6 years ago) is it possible or do i risk suspension?
and i need to change his bank address to mine, which was in the account previously banned, do i need a new bank account or i can reuse my old bank address?

Yep agree on Etsy its a much bigger risk than doing it on eBay

unfortunately i have to do, its registered under my friend name, and it doesnt have time anymore to manage the shop since it has find a new work, it asked me to change the info if i can, i was previously banned obviously, can i still use my old bank account(the one registered on my old banned account) or will i need a new one?

If I were you I'd keep this account and create a 2nd account of your own so you have 2 accounts to work with.

you shouldnt use old bank account - get a new one.

Make few backup stealth accounts now to have options

I recommend that you do not enter the same bank information, if the account was banned for some reason, that information will remain in the platform's database. It is better to find new data to make the change. it is best to never use joined data before

what if just changing the bank info but keeping his friends name in details?
Then Etsy might think that he is simply changing accounts for personal reasons or something.

if you need make modification to this account i would only add new fresh bank and keep the same info for avoid suspension or open new account beside
