New Etsy Account
 

Hi guys

Im going to attempt to open a new Etsy account.
A friend has agreed to open it for me with his name, address and bank details.
So my question is once its open and im using it from my house, if I use an old (reformatted) laptop and im good to just use the hotspot on my mobile?

As long as I never connect to wifi will this be ok or do I need to take any other precautions?

Will use only new images etc.

so this account on your mobile hotspot and this hotspot is dedicated for that 1 account?

Then yes, you should be fine. If your friend can make the account WITH that laptop ON that hotspot from the start, it'd be even better

Yes I would only use the hotspot to connect to this account.

Do you know if the laptop had been connected to the original wifi if this would be a problem? Obvs I would only contact to the new Etsy account via mobile hotspot.

if it had been connected to the original wifi BEFORE using etsy, I don't see that as a problem since your etsy account would not have been created by then, right?

Correct, I haven't even created the Etsy account as of yet.

Hopefully there's nothing else that links the 2.

LIke I said , seems like you have everything ready.

Just ask your friend to make the account using your laptop and your hotspot.
Keep it 1:1 consistent with everything.

Oh and if you formatted and reinstalled the OS on the laptop , that laptop is basically NEW.

This is what I do for amazon also and it's a needed thing to do
