$15 shop fee
 

been trying to make several accounts and most not all (like 80% got hit with the $15 setup fee)

I tried business vs non business account but it did not make any difference. I am not saying my accounts are getting suspended so i think my setup is ok but not sure if anyone else is getting this or not

maybe we can all brainstorm on what factors are causing this issue...

my store is us and i am located in the us before anyone asks i have mex flag becuase i am a mexican citizen if that matters

just to clarify, some accts get the 15 dollar fee and some dont?

$15 to discourage sellers like you to open many stores ,most of us just have 1 -2 stores.

What you say is very curious, it is important to understand what you do in each of the situations and processes to be able to comment on it with complete clarity,
Maybe you are taking a wrong path, but really everything we say without information is wrong.

It is not the end of the world,if she cant afford $15,then cut down on the number of stores she wishes to open,just because one has many stores,does not mean more sales/

the $15 fee is concerning because you don't get it back when your new account gets suspended after 3 days. as mentioned by other users on here many people get suspended from Esty all the time. The amount is a lot if it takes 2-3 accounts made to actually get to the point where you even have a sale..

What i found interesting was that not all my accounts got it , out of 7 only 5 got hit with the fee indicating it may be optional however my creation steps were the same

1. individual phone with its own real sim card and own real number using Esty from the mobile browser . SSN/ITIN/ are the only thing being reused. For the address i add apartment numbers . I don't use any anti detect or special tools just separate phones and i have about 10 phone plans

I tried making business ones with the ein as well as personal ones but it did not seem to make a difference

for bank i used alliant savings for all accounts and manual verification deposits so no login with plaid

I tried clicking on a few listings before I opened my seller account and a few things in the search bar to establish browser history but it made no difference

I tried chrome + firefox + opera browser with no luck

Would love some advice on how to improve. Again i don't mind the fee but with the way account making works where there is a element of random chance to it where some accounts may get suspended even if you follow all the same operating procedures $15 per attempt feels more like gambling.

flag is mx becuase even though i live in the us i am without status so my documents and lack of ssn mean i have different challanges then a normal american. My husband is an american and he often can open accounts easier then me when i use his info

But when you ask a question on this forum,we will try to help based on where you are,what you sell etc.
If you are married to an American,you should apply to be a permanent resident,and get a SSN.
why cant you use his account to list?
