Selecting a partner???

Don’t know if ppl have tried to avoid suspension but I have added a partner saying they make the clothes & I print and design on them! Maybe that’s a good way around getting suspended are they manually reviewing the account after 1 st sale and looking at pics and for stuff like a partner ? If it’s obv you don’t entirely make the product from scratch yourself ? Which 99% of ppl don’t make the whole product themselves

Isnt that what most people do anyway? I know its how it works for nearly all the printed things.

I dont see an issue with that but also not an area I sell in myself

My pt is I can see loads of ppl not bothering with it and saying they make it all themselves. Then banned!

You think it helps over coming a suspension after first sale ?

I doubt anyone will be looking thoroughly, they probably suspend people in bulk

So what triggers them then if it’s not making sure what you’re selling is handmade or if not making sure you have selected the right partner

Also with now paying £11 will that change? Otherwise am guessing 1000s will cry scam

They could also buy a piece and examine it.

Sometimes it is the manufacturer who will buy one item and then report to Ebay.

random means random , no one looks into anything

Re: Selecting a partner???

Correct, generally there is no human being manually reviewing the accounts, making mass bans and even more so when the account sells in an unnatural way

There are many bots which roam the sites, and with millions of listings,it takes time to crawl thru the entire site and it is always changing,so there will be some hit and miss.

Hopefully now with the 11£ fee might stand more of a chance of staying on. Av done me first sale. Passport been verified. Just waiting on the deposits to verify the bank.

Same name. Same passport. Everything else diff

Ye av never understood the ban after 1st sale. As metrics and strikes will get the bad sellers off. Not fair on the decent lads who just wanna make a living

Re: Selecting a partner???

they likely have too many sellers and too little buyers , the only way to avoid this known to me is to start active selling immediately , if they see you list one cheap item they figure they don't need you

Update. Email off Etsy not banned. They’ve put a temp account reserve on it. Sooo I don’t know if that’s passed the banned stage and this is where we are now??
