Has anyone tried this before?

Hey guys,

Just bought a new shop, and I want to change its bank account.

Has anyone tried to add a different bank account that is NOT the bank account of the original store maker AND succeeded?

If so please reply to this thread.

I'm not planning to change it since my first ever shop got suspended.
That's why I bought a new one.

Will they check for the name on the bank? I mena how will they know?

Is the bank account verified? Yes, it is approved to have dismatch between the names associated with the bank account and the Etsy account

We haven't verified it yet, but will they know it's not the same name when they send the deposit?

They are not verifying the identity in this case they verify that the bank is real and that you have control of the bank account.
but generally ebay will take the new name that the bank account has, this in the cases of payoneer accounts

They use PLAID to check your bank account,why is my prior post deleted?

Depends how you decide to add the bank , if choose manually they shouldnt
