How does Etsy verify bank accounts?

When Etsy sends a deposit to the bank account
does it verify your name then?

I'm curious about this, because I just bought a new store and need to know how they verify the name for the bank.

Ayden dose all that. Don’t think you can be linked by name alone. Just make sure everything else is diff

Hi Daveh83, I’m new to this forum and I’ve noticed that you have set up a new Etsy shop after being suspended. Can I ask how you did this. I’ve been selling for over 1 year and now I’m completely income less.

Etsy used PLAID to verify your bank account,it will tell you more at its website

You can go to Etsy and find out,I read yesterday that for non US store,it is after you make your first sale.
May be it is just too much work or expense to verify a non US bank,so why not wait for the first order then spend the time and effort?

Yes of course! Ok cheers bud. I’m going to set up a new shop in a few days so fingers crossed. Just one more question. Are you using mobile broadband or using your parents Wi-Fi. If so have you never connected to Etsy through there Wi-Fi network before?

You should do your best not to open the ETSY account with different IPs.
If you open with several IPs you can have a lot of problems brother

Yes, you have to have the amount they charge prepaid, I recommend 1 or two dollars more
