Etsy Stealth - Reset my Cookies am I screwed?
 

Messing with Etsy Stealth these couple of weeks, already matured a few buyer accounts, and preparing slowly for onboarding process. ("Sitting" in a shop name/listing page for a few days lol)

I am using real bank info, an anti-detect browser with address geolocation selected for a stealth persona, a static residential proxy, the main warmup profile has purchase history, favorites/messages with Etsy sellers, profile description, AI-generated profile pic(it looks believable and cleared metadata), also messaged Etsy support asking for some newbie seller questions to appear more like a normie. If the account gets suspended at least I have opened a case with a real person and could use to it get actual help and not an automated bot reply. (No 40 free listings influencer link when opening the store. My schizo brain thinks that it could also matter)

My problem is that I screwed my cookies, due to my travel, and forgot to save the cookie file so I had to start warming up cookies from the beginning. Even tho IP and browser data are the same, Etsy was still suspicious and sent the automated email. (Did you just sign into Etsy from the following device and/or browser?)

Does that mean the integrity of your cookies might matter a lot?

Question, am I screwed for warming up cookies from the start? Is this an insta loss scenario or is there a glimmer of a positive outcome? I could probably test it out for science. Or should I keep the bank details for the other account? (CC has already been used for purchasing the digital item) I feel like otherwise the profile looks pretty clean except for the AI part. The buyer profile was created on April 4th.

Edit thoughts: Potentially age it longer before proceeding? More Etsy supp convos, liked product collections, questions to sellers, forum post replies... Hm...?

The logo for the shop and all the graphics to make it look professional are ready to potentially avoid the 24-hour insta ban RNG

First I would tell you that everything you say you do is very good, it is the process that should be followed..
but I would recommend that you stop using anti-detect browser, they can damage the account, there are several in the forum that have explained it

Thank you for your fast reply. I will go tomorrow on a forum reading spree and hopefully, I find more info to be more up-to-date. I did buy an Etsy Stealth book from another site, it does mention VMs, different PC user accounts, chrome browser profiles and other less appealing options. Could the VM route be the correct one?

After reading Persona's website on how they do the whole verification fiesta, they track your site behavior and how much time you spend on each step - in our case, the onboarding process. So warming an account does seem like the right pathway.

How does Persona now impact account opening on et$y? Do they already ask for selfies when opening a store?

The Selfie thing is making it very difficult on some platforms to create stealth accounts, the only thing left to do is use real people for that process, but you would have to pay them and make documents with photos for them.

You can use your name and id. Etsy doesn’t handle that info and won’t link you. Just make sure everything else is diff.

I spend like 1h+ reading a bunch of their pages, sorry I won't be able to link a particular one cuz I was clicking pretty much every link and reading.

What I remember them saying is that they check for patterns of behavior on the site, what the user is doing, and for how long it takes. Basically for what I realized they log all the **** you do. They also check for image data, exif data. it means your onboarding process needs to make perfect sense timing-wise, and image data should also make sense.

FaceID is needed if they need more info basically to verify you. There was also a page on cookies and gathering "3rd party info" aka cookies.

I probably needed to save everything i learned so far about this stealth thing in a separate document to keep track.

I think you have to go through this site and actually read to connect the dots. This might be the future of how hard it will be on any site.

yeah pretty much. I did see a youtube video in which somebody tried to connect their webcam to their phone camera so that it would capture from the webcam.

idk, but there should be some kind of way, to cheese this.

Let's say, for example, it is a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ face, a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ AI-generated ID there could be a way to photoshop the picture with an AI ID and do a face swap with Openai. How to actually do it, I don't have the know-how yet.

I bet the prices from developed countries are pretty high.

At some point, you might run out of friends/relatives :D

So AI-generated info could be one pathway.

But their partners probably save this ****, don't they? It is their business interest to provide top-notch protection for a high roller like Etsy.

Assuming they don't save how you look in your passport it does sound like a great idea.

Ebay has millions of users ,same name and same ID is not good enough to link accounts.

Has anyone confirmed this and been able to make a new Etsy with same name same ID after being banned? Same name I can imagine, but not same ID

I don't think it'll work with same ID. You should test it though and see what happens then let us know? =)
