stealth after etsy introduced the one off payment to open shop
 

Hi guys,

how do you open new stealth shops now after etsy introduced the one off payment for opening new shop? I use name missmatch but assume that when you pay for the shop, they can see your real name on bank account no?

the one off payment is only from bank or can be done from a credit card/ - if from bank account, yes they will see the true name ....but it might not affect the health of the account off the start...

So can I use a bank with completely different name than my account is even when etsy can see this? I know you can use name missmatch to recieve payments as they can't see the name when sending money but they can see it when they recieve money from you so that's my worry

Your name & account is for adyan use. Not Etsy. When linking Etsy don’t use this info! So you can have same name same id. But everything else has to be diff

What info do you mean not to link? Bank is under my real name, and for etsy I use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and id. So when I pay the fee from my bank account, my real name will be visible which won't match the etsy account

He meant just use your bank account as it's not Etsy that's processing it.

Yeah sorry, that's what I meant. I'm pretty sure reciever can see your name when you pay with your card? But like another person said, it may be that only aydan see it and not etsy

they cant see the true name if you pay via credit card or vcc.

if you pay from bank, then the name of the bank acct is shown as the sending party

Correct yes

You always use the card to pay and that never shows if the name is mismatching

I have had this thing that happened to me where it gets stuck when I am on the last step when paying the billing fee , could it be because bank name and card names are mismatched and should be the same ?

when you say gets stuck, what do you mean/ are you paying the billing fee from a credit card...that might an issue if address of card doesnt match up to registered address.

Most UK cards do this, they do not accept mismatched address. Use a virtual bank card.

The name is fine they dont need to match

The door number and or postcode need to match - it depends on the card issues and what their AVS requirements are

In USA,it is the street number and zipcode,but there are others-expiration date of the card,if it has been reported stolen and if it has exceeded its credit limit.
Here is the problem,checking street number and zipcode only, it is possible to have a different street with same street number and zipcode,
