What is gift card BTW? The card from local stores with credits. I saw some stores sell these kinds of cards that are good for online shopping.

Similar to AZ gift cards? Specific for Etsy? Then they are fine for shopping but not meant for creating seller account

There was a time AMZN would not accept its own AMZN gift cards

I don't think so. I just know you can buy these cards in local stores in Europe

I think he means you can use Etsy gift cards to shop on Etsy,but not to use to open an Etsy shop or satisfy ETsy requirement to maintain a shop,as it would charge your cc in case your bank account has insufficient fund .

Oh i know these cards can be topped up with credits as well, so I think they’re a good fit for Etsy.
