Can someone tell me if a new user on pc is okay to use a new etsy account when the laptop has previously been used to access an account which is now banned? Will be using a new sim hotspot for the data for now. Many thanks

If this were me, I'd format the PC and reinstall windows before reusing it.

Just double extra careful like for amazon

Thank you, I was thinking about this. Does Windows reinstall automatically?

Also, I have a number of product images that were created on this laptop, are these okay to use? Mainly Adobe Illustrator files which have been processed and saved as JPEGs in Photoshop.

i am running my 10+ accounts in the same laptop.I could have more if enough C space.

But you have to figure out how to do right computer settings. All I can tell you that the learnings from Ebay /amazon stealth book are not enough.

if you have only one account going to be created, use the safest way, new laptop or reinstallment

Thanks so much for all the advice all. In the end I bought a refurbished laptop which was worth it as it was cheap. :)

SInce when is the stealth guide enough? It's a guide for the basics and foundations so the lot of you can actually function with the full understanding of how things work . You can't just go for a ****ing sprint without learning how to crawl. ....

The forum is FREE right? It's here to SUPPORT the people that have the guide with updates, bleeding edge info etc.

It's a little tiring to see when people don't understand how things work but still yap about.

Calm down. I was being honest when I said that I had set up my Etsy account on the same laptop, where I manage multiple accounts. The setup for eBay or Amazon might not be secure enough for Etsy. There are still more steps I need to take, especially when running accounts from a different country.
