Default Scammed By Duab

Hello again everyone,

I wanted to share my experience and see if anyone else has had a similar situation with a seller named Duab. After reading some recommendations on a previous post, I decided to purchase an Etsy account from him. However, it now seems I may have been scammed.

At first, Duab was responsive, but now he’s stopped replying to my messages. He initially agreed to refund me, but then started saying things like, “most likely I’ll refund you,” which makes no sense and seems contradictory. It’s becoming clear that something’s off.

I also noticed that on his for-sale post, there are several people commenting, claiming they were scammed by him too. Has anyone here been scammed by him? surely he needs to be removed from this forum if he’s openly scamming people. I also have screenshots of our conversations as evidence but i cant see how to add it to this post

Thanks in advance for any advice or similar experiences!
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

Thats a shame thanks for sharing your experience. I wish I had known this sooner. I also bought an Etsy account from him but i didn't get that far as he didnt even deliver what we agreed.

It clear this guy is scamming multiple people. He needs to be removed from the platform.

nowadays most new accounts on major marketplaces get shut down quickly , there are many sellers who could not deliver because of this in the past , some refunded the funds , others just kept them

I would say if all the details are real, Etsy is solid

I believe Etsy can still work with stealth details , it is quite the same in some countries is not able to verify that

care with details and link-free operations are needed - getting stuck with verification request is hard indeed

I see the comments on his post that are certainly concerning, but I have purchased I think 5 or 6 from him over various time frames without any issues. The last two were the Ukraine accounts and both took an extended time to deliver, but were solid when they did deliver.

Exclamation Re: Scammed By Duab

I have not yet to receive a refund from James_North for the account I paid for one month, and I am not sure what is going on with the sellers! Where are the Mods!

you can easily check every seller , just offer to send a partial payment as proof of your commitment and they shall provide proof they can deliver the account , for example by providing temporary access with limited details so that you could not take it over on your own

I guarantee you will not find a single seller ready to do this

I was trusting that forums sellers are honest enough, but they refuse any refunds even if its their faults!!

I suspect the majority of buyers request a refund so sending refunds became impossible at some point

Hi mate,

I apologize for this situation. Truth is its none of your fault and I completely take the responsibility.

For the past few months I was not involved in this side of my business and hired an assistant for that. Due to lack of my involvement in some cases my assistant could not handle some of the cases, resulting in posts like yours.

Everyone here knows who I dealt with that I always deliver and I'm strictly business focused. And the latest accounts we produce are the most stable ones you could get on etsy, confirmed by some of the replies of my previous customers.

I will solve this issue for you, hope that explained the reason for delay and inconsistent communication. I plan to fully stop selling as I am moving forward with other ventures. I'm happy that this service kept going for almost 4 years, that says a lot.

you quit selling because the type of account wont run for a long-term. not many that will even make out the account price money before they got banned.so thats a good step u take by not wasting people's time and money.

Ahmed you really need to stop lying at this point

You have had 2 accounts both 4 months old and as soon as you logged in both got limited within hours.

Perfectly fine for 4 months then you log in and both limited within hours - it's pretty clear where the issue is here.

This is why for the 3rd and final repalcment and I am setting it up on your PC for you since you won't follow the clearly outlined steps.
