Someone used a 75% off coupon (hidden)
 

I have had a coupon reserved for me alone...A 75% off coupon. Its over a year old. I have never shared it, posted it, messaged it to anyone.

I get a order today and shockingly, it was used. About 5 mins later i removed the coupon code, also just freaking canceled the order, even though it was a digital item with auto delivery. I messaged the buyer "I canceled your order".

I don't want to kick the nest anymore than that. A part of me wants to flat out ask how in the hell did you get that code....

With that said, does anyone know of any extensions that can find hidden codes that a seller does not advertise on Etsy or any social platforms?

I will say this, i bought an excel spreadsheet recently, added SKUs to my listings etc to keep track of performance, not sure if that is a source of a leak. idk.

the coupon though, don't you get paid 100% and the platform is the one that gives the 75% credit back to the buyer?

No, i get paid 25%. Its a mark down like a sale. Well -25% after payment processing fee's, renew and if it was off site ad's. So i get less than 25% lol.


its even worse if the current item is already on sale.



I REALLY WANT THE SAUCE ON HOW TO GET THESE CODES FROM RANDOMS.

The coupon was reserved for you alone you said - this buyer used it...who did the "reservation"? It seems likely that the provider has been a bit loose with access...

Yeah I'm not sure, to be honest you could probably cancel it and then give them a lesser coupon to "honor" the coupon in some way
