Hello,

Wish I would have found out about the e-book and this forum before attempting to set up some stealth accounts on Etsy. Anyone else been found out over on Etsy? What, if any, were the repercussions?

Also, what are people's opinions on using a virtual hotspot for internet? Different IP address each time you log-in, etc?

Stealth works on Etsy - time for you to learn stealth :thumb:

The stealth techniques that work for eBay will work for ETSY as well. HOWEVER: Since products on ETSY are unique, you have to do something to change your products somewhat if you are listing the exact same items on the new account.

Hello! Great to be here and happy for the advice and support. I have all new products and photos listed. I have read the book... a quick read... plan to read more in depth as time permits.

The virtual hotspot is my own network I can use from any location. Every time I log-in it gives a different ip. I read this was not advisable, but I don't think it would get me kicked off. What are your thoughts?

Should also add that the IPs given show my general but not specific area.

It doesn't matter where the IP is located so long as it's different from the last IP used.

All I got is that you're using Etsy.

You might want to take that out of the thread title. You never know who might be reading that you use Etsy.

Gotcha. Newbie. Like a said. Just a weeeee bit paranoid. Anyone out there having success with etsy stealth accounts? I know someone who has had one for 3 years but that is the most success I know of anyone having...

Etsy Stealth works alliekat, the only difference is you can't add bank account but you can add a Paypal account without any problems.

I just started a new niche on etsy and so far so good.

The same rules of ebay stealth apply to etsy stealth.

I could be wrong but I believe new users registering have to link a bank account to prove their identity... part of Etsy's new changes.

I have multiple etsy accounts and just attach a paypal with no problems yet.

So you can never add in a new bank account that has new routing and new account number? Is it because they will verify it and it will come back to your banned address?

I am in the same boat as you AllieKat. You can use just paypal but once you hit a certain dollar amount they will want your social or tax ID number. I don't know if they verify the address on the savings account.

You can add a new bank account to PP - have done this quite a few times. It will verify fine if your bank accepts deposits in different ways.

You can't add a bank account directly to Etsy....Etsy will require a valid SSN and it must match the etsy owners information.

The only way to stealth with Etsy is to add a Paypal Account + Bank Account attached to Paypal, no other way, can't be done any other way.

Why not have multiple etsy accounts like most of us have ebay accounts.

Spread sales.

I wish the same thing allie. I made about 3 different accounts after getting suspended and all were found out. Wish I read the book first. I really did well on etsy and they won't let me back. I can't change the ip addy on my ATT UVERSE..seems noone can. This totally SUX!

You do realize there's other options that work for IP issue?
