Etsy help!
 

Hi! I have read through every post I could find related to creating a new identity to sell on etsy after being banned. I had an account that was doing awesome but I got banned for having a listing with Hello Kitty on it. I know, copyright infringement, but it was something that hadn't sold and was on the last page. A long time ago I removed everything with any "characters" on it to stay out of trouble even though SO MANY shops are able to sell all day every day the same stuff. Anyway, I set up a new shop just by using a different Paypal and setting up a new shop with a new email address. I wasn't smart enough. It got shut down pretty quickly and so did my personal etsy name that I used solely for purchasing items. I can't buy or sell :(

It's unfortunate there are no other sites that are as popular as etsy for what I sell. I'm doing some research and wanting to try to get back in the game. I know I must follow the rules and I have no problem with that. I know I can. I just need to know how to set up shop to go unnoticed and not get shut down. All the posts on here are confusing because I don't know many of the acronyms or some of the terminology used. I have a PC with cable internet. I have no idea about IP addresses. Can someone please help? Is there a book I need to purchase? Any free advice some of you may have would be awesome. I appreciate it!!

For Et/sy, follow the EB steal/th guide found on this forum. That is all you need to learn. Also, same goes for Bona/nza. Bonan and Et/sy are practically the same d*mn company.

Hi Nonamegame! Boy, we sure share similar stories. :) I too was kicked off for infringement (even lesser deal than hello kitty) and banned after attempting to set up another shop. It's worth purchasing the book. I've found it very helpful. Something that is also good advice... give your shop a TOTALLY new look. Don't be surprised if your competitors have it out for you, recognize you, and report you.

Hi! Set up a stealth account. Please google ebay stealth account. Buy it from Aspkn it will help you a lot about knowing ip/mac and etc.

I set up an etsy shop linked to my facebook account. I declined to use paypal and went to be paid straight to my bank.

If I were to set up a paypal account with the same card would I be linked through etsy? I never logged into PP through etsy so would there be any connection with the card if I used it for an ebay/PP account?

Et.sy and PP do not need to match. Completely separate.

Yeah thats what I thought.

If I start a stealth acc with the same card PP won't know it is linked to etsy.

I only say that because my Facebook page is the same name as a compromised ebay store so there may be a link there.

But if you Etsy account goes down, can you use that Paypal account again for a different etsy account?

I was banned from Et/sy and am back on. My question is I have a decent following on pinterest, and fb. Can I link them together even though it is my old store name and items? I would hate to start all over :((
