Hi,
So has anyone had luck creating a stealth account on Etsy? How do you get around the eventual asking for the SS#?

Yes. Simply add a PP account. You do not need SSN.

So, would I just do all the usual as far as a new email, IP? Can I use the same PP account? Have you done this successfully, Unknown5454?

You should not use old SAME info - stealth is about being new and unlinked

Don't fret, it's incredibly easy. If you understand ste/alth, implement the same process on Et/sy.

Assign a new email to PP, then you can use the same PP account. Change everything else as you normally would with ste/alth. No need to pay someone else to do this.

I did create an E/bay stealth account quite a few years ago. I can't remember how to change my IP - I think there are online programs that do this? Thanks, Unknown5454

Verdigirl, search the forum in regards to IP changing. There are many methods to perform this. Sometimes you can use your home ISP, and many others like myself, either tether to their cell phones or purchase MiFi boxes/USB dongles with internet service from a number of carriers.

Although Et/sy is quite easy to set up, you can still be linked in many ways and they are not ignorant of it. But, with everything done right, you can do it faster and easier than any EB or AZ account.

Yes, you must change your photos & descriptions.

Read over ebay stealth info and use that for etsy

Thanks, Greenbean. And, I can't seem to find a thread on the previously mention USB/dongle for ip. Any advice on this - not even sure what it is or how it works. Thanks!

A Dongle is a Portable Device that allows your Computer to connect to the Internet. It can connect to the Computer either Directly with USB OR through Wifi.

As everyone has mentioned, Stealth Etsy is actually less work than Ebay Stealth. So with that in mind:
- New Information
- New IP
- New Paypal that matches Etsy information
- New Pictures, Should also strip the images of the metadata
- New Descriptions

Nothing can be the same.

Quite easy to google this and read through forums - you will need to buy a dongle and service provider for it
