Etsy asking for CC to pay fees at setup
 

Hi everyone!

Total newbie at et.sy stealth here. I am almost done with the setup process and it's asking for a credit card for fees. I bought a few greendot cards but those make you put in your name, date of birth and ss# and address. I figure the name and address are definitely going to get flagged.

What do I do? Enter in the new card with my info but just make sure my fees are paid through my sales? I tried looking through the forum and I couldn't find this answer.

You go buy a prepaid $20 gift card from the drug or grocery store, register it with whatever zip code you want, and then slap it on Et.sy account. Done deal.

From where I can get these cards online. M using Entropay and it is getting flagged i guess as most card number except last 4 digits are same in my case.
