New shop on same name
 

Hi, I'm thinking about to open a new stealth ETSY shop on brother name he gave me his bank account and SSN so I'm able to use direct checkout. the problem is I used his name before and shop was closed but I didn't enter any bank info or SSN i used stealth paypal. Can I try to use the same name everything else will be different or can I do the name variation as real name is John Smith I'll put Johny Smithel or something like that will it work what do you guys think

Yes that should work. My wife lost her etsy account, so we set up one in her brothers name and used the same last name as hers. Got up in the morning and closed. Just because the last name triggered something and when they looked at the account shut it down.
So we went back and changed his last name and eureka. Store is still open 4 months later.

Appears not.

Do not consider this. Even the sluggish etsy bots will find you.

I just saw your PM but I can't reply 'cause I'm new or something like that. Only the info I give IRS are real. ALL ⊗⊗⊗⊗ for eaeetsy. Did not have to prove anything to eaetsy. So far so good but I'm freaking nervous, not sure how long it will last. Good luck to ya
