eeetsy buyers are more tolerant for Asian sellers
 

Hey guys, I noticed 99% asian sellers only accept paypal and their businesses are thriving. Most Korean sellers make 12,000+ sales each year that means they pocket 150,000 USD/year at least with the price they are selling (usually the same price as US sellers or just a bit less) and I know for sure they bought 50cents or LESS items in those chinese/korean markets in their countries. They charge about $4-5 for shipping which is not that much cheaper than a US seller. AND they do not pay taxes. Wow!
Those US sellers with the same items, same prices or only slightly higher price has 10x or more less sales. Any idea? I don't know if buyers prefer stuffs from Asia and why Asian items are always on the first page on search engine and they do NOT pay for ad.
But this year, only few Korean store survive on eeetsy. I think the devil is catching up.

They have to pay taxes in their own country. And Chinese sellers's account don't tend to last very long unless they comply with the rules and restrictions.

I doubt they be paying tax, if they are they claim it as an "expense" in there own country and countries such as hk are VAT zero rated :)
